Popular Nigerian Bitcoin lord, Linus Williams Ifejika has been arrested along with thirteen(13) other fraudsters by the police and their porsh cars and other asserts were being ceased in the course of the operation.
Linus Williams and the other suspects were arrested by some operatives of the Enugu State zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Awka, Anambra State.
The suspects who were believed between the ages of 21-28 were nabbed at Okpuno Awka, Agu Awka, and Ngozika estate on Monday, August 31, 2020.
The operatives were also able to retrieve three Mercedes Benz 4matic, another three Mercedes Benz AMG, and two Lexus Rx salon cars.
According to interim analyses of some of their phones, the suspects were believed to be involved in internet fraud which includes online bitcoin scam, love scam, and identity theft among others. The suspects are being arraigned for court for prosecution.
